It is a very small fire pit and when you have the fan on it blows ashes out of the pit quite a bit.

Dead Battery

Bought the biolite fire pit on 3/15/2021. Loved it and used it a handful of times for backyard fires and cooking. Tried it out today and found the battery is dead and can’t be revived after only a handful of uses. Without the battery, this product isn’t very useful. May go with a similarly priced competing fire pit that isn’t so dependent on a defective battery design to function.

Neat little fire pit, very efficient when it was working - alas the battery pack has failed after only a few uses and there is no replacement part. Expensive experiment for a tiny fire pit.

Won this at a a Christmas party and it was cool at first and then after a few months the battery/ fan wouldn't take a charge . The legs are rusted and it's been kept on my porch out of the elements . Very disappointing and I wouldn't recommend to buy it ! 😕

Winter in Canada has made physically distanced visiting with friends and neighbours quite challenging. We've tried setting up radiant heaters paired with emergency blankets hung as reflector walls, extra blankets, sleeping bags, parkas, hand warmers and hot beverages. But nothing warmed us up quite like having a nice reduced smoke fire in our new FirePit+. After the -10C visit, we roasted hot dogs over the coal bed and had a proper camp-out meal with our children.

I got the BioLite Fire Pit+ and the accessories. This thing is awesome. I mainly use charcoal for cooking with the cast iron skillet then when the meal is over I will lower the basket a load in some wood for the fire pit for hours of campfire enjoyment.
