Excellent and versatile lantern. Great battery life and I love all the different lighting modes. I use the soft light setting all the time. The ‘shake’ feature to modify the lighting is freakin’ genius. Great for camping, prepping/power outages etc. I tried to get away with just 1 but had to buy 2 more because I liked them so much.

These are excellent lights . They throw a lot of light for their size and the different light colors are great added touch as well . I like the fact that you can either hang them or just put them on a table. Lastly I haven't had to recharge them all of the time so they definitely hold their charge for a decent amount of time .

I bought a small one for a 6 day hiking trip in the Wind River Range. For longer hours in the tent, the lighting is both functional and relaxing. Now, I wouldn't camp without one. I liked it so much I bought a larger one for my 11 year old son. He loves it.

We have an older BioLite lamp in the bedroom of our off-grid cabin and needed something for the living area to eliminate the need to constantly move the lighting. This is an awesome light. After sunset, we can light it up and it gives plenty of light to sit by to read or just have on during conversation. We haven't had the need to use the multi-color function, basically use the white lights and red (good for late night when we wake up to take our dog out and not want to have a bright light get you fully awake). We have no complaints, it's perfect for cabin life. Next test will be to see how long the BaseCharge takes to bring the AlpenGlow to a full charge.
