Ok... honestly, it seems silly. But if you have the FirePit, it's just a great tool.
If you happen to say want to use it for a regular fire, as with a majority of front country fires are restricted to keeping fires inside designated fire pits, you can use it for those too. OR use it for the FirePit INSIDE the fire pit. Whoa...
So that's the poker use... poke and stoke the logs in the fire pit.

It is a multitool, though, with the FirePit, it's a nice indispensable tool to adjust the racks. Yah, you can just lounge back and adjust.

This tool is purpose built for the Biolite FirePit and it pokes woods and lifts the burn rack etc very well. The build quality is solid and good materials. The 'silicon' handle insulator is GREAT!
