Now you have a real grill. Very easy to make use of your pit other than just a pretty fire. The tase with real wood is amazing and this lid gives you good control over the temps.

Fit perfectly. I wanted the lid to help snuff out the fire and make it safer when the fire is not completely out. Haven't tried out yet, but cooler Temps are coming. My fire pit will be my outdoor see through fireplace insert. Will burn half the wood compared to just using the open fireplace.

It’s a nice product and keeps heat in for grilling. It’s nice that it fits right on top of the firepit and griddle. However, huge deign flaw that you can fit the solar cover over the top when it’s on the fire pit. Now you have to carry two separate pieces when traveling with it. Big design flaw imo.
