I really love It. The sleek, clean look, as well as the quality make it worth the rave reviews. The coffee tastes so much better than my electric drip ever did. Unfortunately it's a bit too large (12 cup), to travel in our RV, so we'll keep it for when we can finally have company over and purchase the 8 cup for our travels.

I love this coffee pot! There’s nothing like really hot coffee. It’s very easy to clean. I like having the option of up to 12 cups. Works great on my ceramic top stove. Buy it! You’ll love it too!

the lid

this is a great coffee pot but after 2 months the lid broke. The knob shattered on the lid. The pot has been sitting in the cabinet because i was hoping to get a replacement lid but no luck. It was a gift to my husband from the kids. I have to buy him a whole new pot again because the lid is broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this Yosemite pot for power outages, our normal pot is an electric Farberware unit that works great..when the power is on...this past weekend, with the storm that rocked KY and TN we had to use the gas stove pot for the first time. The coffee was better than the daily use pot, however, after I washed it the glass top broke clean with the stainless cap...very sharp, dangerous and surprising !!! after 1 use !!!.... definitely need some Quality Control here, as I read we are not unique to this problem.

First let me say, I have had many of these coffee pots... (6-7) over the past 47 yrs. The new... lid falls off if not held , rim around glass top leaks when pouring, spring that basket sits on also falls off.. no inside gasket around glass top... I would appreciate a new pot being sent, and hopefully the new one will be better... The one I threw away, while old was better than this..

I have owned 4,8 &12 cup pots for 45 years Love them. My new 12 cup makes a clicking type sound while plugged in. I returned and replaced it but new one does as well. Is this ok?
