I called to report this problem, because it didn't let me close the lid. Then, I pushed it to try to straighten it and the lid closed. I called right back, stating it worked, but I said I might have weakened it. I received no response.

Coffee or anything tastes metallic oily.
Tried cleaning with vinegar. No luck. Bad metal taste.

Not a lot of people take the time to percolate their coffee but i think it has a much better flavor. This is my 2nd Yosemite Percolator. It is great!

We have not used it yet. We are waiting till our power goes out. It will be so convenient to have for the guest stove we live in Alaska. It's very well-made and we know it's going to work just fine.
