We were so excited to get something simple - not an electrical appliance - and the coffee is good, but after 4 uses the handle fell off while we were filling it with water :(

I've considered a percolator for a couple years. My mother used a Farberware electric model for decades. I have limited counter space and didn't want another electric appliance. This is much better engineered than the vintage percolators I've used while camping and during power outages.

Excellent barebones percolator coffee pot. I’ve had the Farberware Yosemite percolator for probably 5-6 years or more. As a matter of fact, I’m perking some coffee on the stove right now. While I do have my Cuisinart Brew Station that gets used quite a lot, there’s something about the smell and taste of coffee brewed in a percolator.

I have used this coffee pot every day for over ten years. Never a problem and never once has the lid ever come off while pouring coffee. Like all Farberware products it is built to last.

I bought this about a month ago and use it every morning for my coffee. Old school coffee pot, no electric cords or tubes to clean out. Put it on the stove burner, set the burner on medium and 15 minutes I have a pot of excellent tasting coffee. Easy to wash.

I have owned 3 or 4 of these percolators and have used them for more than 20 years. They make a great cup of coffee. It is time for Farberware to make an INDUCTION ready version of this coffee percolator.
