[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coffee it prepares is amazing and I love that it has a built in grinder and it grinds fresh coffee.
The things I don't like about are: -It's very "plasticky" for the price. -You have to push hard the buttons (they could be in a digital screen). -I think it wastes way too much water to clean(to start the machine and to finish). I think is enough with the final cleaning when you are about to switch off the machine. -I'd love it to have another extra button for an extra creamy coffee (for the one in the picture I had to prepare 2 coffees in one mug). -I don't like you always have to use their water filter even though you pour your own filtered water. -I'd like it to be taller to allow taller mugs (especially when you prepare ice coffee). -Instructions could be more clear and it'd be great it to include a QR with a link to a video where explains how to use the machine.
Honestly, I've tried before coffee from a Nespresso (with milk froth) which is X 3 times cheaper and there wasn't a huge significant difference in flavor/foam. I feel this machine is too pricey compared to others (Nespresso or a similar DeLonghi)

Weak coffee

I'm comparing this to the Saeco Vienna Plus coffee, espresso, capacino machine and it doesn't come close to being equal. The coffee setting is weak and a single cup is a little more than half a standard American coffee cup (12 oz.). The amount of ground coffee that is dropped into the bin after brewing looks like it's about 3-4 beans. In fact, the amount of coffe ground for an American cup of coffee is far less than what the coffee pods contain. Really weak! It's slow compared to the Saeco. It's harder to work than the Saeco. It doesn't make coffee as well as the Saeco. Why would you buy them out and then discontinue the best automatic coffee making machine ever?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your feedback through this review. We're deeply sorry that it is not living up to your expectations. Let's try to improve its functionality together. You mentioned that the coffee is not as strong as you'd like it to be. Luckily, with this espresso machine you can adjust the settings. We suggest adjusting the grinder to a coarser setting, and choosing the highest aroma option. Please, make sure to have enough coffee beans, and water in the tank before starting the brewing process. Other ways the brewing will be aborted and the coffee powder will be thrown away into the coffee grounds container. If this doesn't improve your experience, please reach out to us on Social Media. We’re available 24/7 on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Philips ) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/philipscare). Alternatively, you can reach out to us via the contact page on our website. One of our colleagues will then try their best to help you further.
Hope to speak to you soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the simplicity of the device. To be honest I do not see a huge diffeence in the bean levels from the instructions, and optimizing the grind setting in the coffee bean storage section is poorly explained. Although the product is easy to use, the instructions, AND SUPPORT are below my expectation. I have a cup to catch the water when cleaning, yet the drip pan fills up constantly.. It is frustrating that it fills with water and I am unable to get in touch with support over this issue
