Now I couldn’t live without it!

I did my research but didn’t know if I wanted to pay this much for an espresso machine. Now I couldn’t live without it! I should have bought it months ago. Easy to use and excellent results. It has paid for itself by eliminating coffee shop expenses. Believe it or not the photo is of my 1st ever cappuccino! It also freed up our counters by replacing our coffee maker, grinder, and electric tea pot. The only real criticism I can think of is that the hopper is kind of shallow so I’m constantly moving the beans to the corner where they drop into the grinder...not a big deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It makes coffee Consistently well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It makes consistently good coffee, and the water for tea is hot enough.
The con’s are that the coffee gets stuck in the second hopper that we use for Decaf , you have to push it through the hole with the back end of the scooper stick. We also learned the hard way not to over fill the manual second hopper as you will not get any coffee made in as it just dumps it.
The water filter had to be replaced after a little over a months use, but we do make up to 10 beverages a day.
Attached in the photo you can stress fractures in the Latte maker

Basic easy to use no frills Espresso machine

Originally I hand purchased the Saceo fully automatic machine and it was way to complicated to operate. Sometimes these machines can get complex and in the morning when you want to make coffee you just need to get to the point. This machine accomplishes that - easy to use. I like that you can make your coffee by simply pressing one button. I also like that most of the components are dishwasher safe which on other higher end machines is a limitation. Another plus of this machine is the fact that you can use oily beans and they will still slide into the grinder properly One downside of this machine is that the parts sometimes can feel and look a little cheap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it works, this machine makes fine cappuccinos and lattes. However, it frequently, and seemingly randomly, produces nothing at all. I have learned that unplugging it before use makes it work more reliably, but that is not enough. Even with consistent practice (plug in, turn on, use, turn off, unplug), it still sometimes produces no coffee, and sometimes does. Who needs a product you can't count on?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can you make sure that your appliance is clean and greased properly?
Kindly refer to the following lubrication frequency:
When preparing 1-5 cups per day every 4 months,
When preparing 6-10 cups a day every 2 months.
When preparing more than 10 cups a day once a month.
To lubricate your coffee machine:
Switch OFF your appliance.
Remove the brew group from the machine and rinse it under a fresh and lukewarm water. Let it air-dry
Apply a thin layer of grease on the piston of the brew group
Apply a thin layer of grease around the shaft located on the bottom of the brew group
Apply a thin layer of grease to the rails on both sides.
In addition, you should clean the coffee funnel on a weekly basis to ensure that the coffee runs smoothly to your espresso machine.

Wonderful Espresso Machine

I love that I can use fresh coffee beans to make americano, latte macchiato, cappuccino, espresso and ice coffee. I like the ease of having a fresh and steamy cup of coffee with one touch of a button. I especially love to make cappuccinos and ice coffee the most, it’s always so good to the taste. I like the steam milk feature, it makes every cup taste so yummy and comforting. The setup was super easy, the instructions are very detailed. I didn’t have difficulty cleaning machine after use which is a stress reliever. I love the feeling of having my own personal barista and I take lesser trips to the coffee shop because of this wonderful machine.

Coffee machine died less than 2 months after buyin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] our coffee maker died less than 2 months after purchasing. it is outside the 30 day replacement time frame. we now have to send it to repair, wait until they decide what to do. we may have coffee again in 4 weeks. too expensive to have this problem uncovered in a replacement warranty.

Do not use Dark Roast beans from Starbucks

Honestly, this machine was very inexpensive. That’s a good thing. But any fully automatic espresso machine worth its salt, MUST be capable of using a Dark Roast bean! Do not buy this if you want a European espresso experience.
The grinder they use simply ground the beans into powder, thus, not producing ANY grounds. That’s when you get watery pucks, or in my case, no pucks! We were drinking our grounded powdered coffee. I went through more than 80 espressos to determine that a Jura was the only machine that truly makes real dark roast espresso.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic for the whole family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Philips 3200 Lattego Espresso Machine had been a huge hit with the Family. Setup and assembly was quick and easy. I like that I have an option of using whole beans or ground depending on your preference. My wifee loves the lattes and I enjoy the espresso and cappuccinos it makes. My father-in-law likes that he can brew up a cup of regular coffee and the kids love the hot water for hot chocolate and our oldest loves tea and iced coffee. This machine has something for everyone and provides and quality cup of coffee every time.
I would recommend this to a friend!
