[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even on the strongest setting and a finer grind the coffee and espresso are pretty weak. As is the single cup ground coffee. The volume of each size of cup is not at all like reported. We have had our machine for a couple of months and still have not found that 'sweet spot' that others have reported.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The design of the milk steamer/frother is what made this Phillips unit stand out. Other brands had less user-friendly set-ups, and I could see this unit would be easier to maintain. I didn't expect it to make such excellent coffee. We're thoroughly happy with this purchase.
