[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice machine. It makes consistently good coffee, and it is easy to clean. I like being able to choose the different styles of coffee drinks that it can make.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is certainly a life-changing message seeing if you like specialized coffee's. I would 100% recommend buying one of these. I am a little worried about the longevity of this thing because it is fickle. There are a lot of moving components and often times the sensors are incorrect, especially on the water the water can have water in it and I have to add water or readjust the carafe into the base. For the light to go out in that coffee maker to continue service I don't know if that's a warranty issue or not but I am monitoring it very closely because I am within my first six months , other than that I have tried many beans and I kept the original adjustment on the coffee maker and it makes excellent everything that it offers. This is a good for an entry-level device, but after a couple of years with this thing, if anything ever happens or goes wrong I am definitely going to upgrade to Phillips highest in model of this because this device has been nothing but amazing to me , this was the only device that I could find in stores at a big box retail, so this was the best I could buy from Phillips. I do trust this brand because they have stood by their products on other products that I've had like the toothbrushes and the other things if you're looking in the market for an espresso machine and you're trying to decide between this brand and some other brands I did try the other brands out and I do like the Phillips product better. I would probably recommend getting an extended warranty just because I feel like something might or could go wrong with this when you see how many moving parts, and how many features it has coupled with the sensitivity of the lights , you might want to consider an extended warranty just in case something happens. Phillips will probably stay in beside their product no matter what and I'm sure that they will take care of me too if something happens.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several months of use, this machine rocks. At the 2ywar mark we’ll post another review on the status of its performance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set up directions could be clearer, we are using only bottled water to reduce problems. It is simple once it is running.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we love the machine for coffee and espresso but will eventually try the other features. I use the darkest roast in order to get the taste we enjoy but using other brewing methods I tended to use medium roast to get that flavor. It seemed the filter wore out pretty quickly in about 2 months so was a little surprised at that since we brew about 5 cups a day which brings it to around 300 cups over two months. I thought I read it was good for 500?? Another problem I’ve experienced off and on is when I go to brew ground coffee sometimes I only get colored water but when I try again using more ground coffee it works fine. This doesn’t happen all the time maybe once or twice a week but it’s a pain and I’m not sure what’s going on.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your Philips coffee machine. We're delighted to know that you're enjoying its espresso and coffee features. Regarding the filter life, it is typically designed to last for around 500 cups, but this can vary depending on water hardness, type of coffee, and other factors. As for the inconsistent brewing issue, it might be related to the coffee grind size or the amount used. When the coffee is too coarse or the amount is too small, it might result in a weaker brew.
