Unfortunately after the first 2 being good machines, with the 2nd one still 100% and the first one ok, other than the frother not working anymore, the next 3 were bad and were all returned for lukewarm espresso, etc., not enough volume and unacceptable frothing capacity. I tried but the quality has gotten to be unacceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A professional automatic coffee machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this model of Philips after a lot of research. I wasn't sure between this one and the Philips 4300 lattego. Finally I got the 3200 and I am 100 % happy. The machine is fast and proper. The latte and Cappuccino is beautiful. The cleaning is easy. the setting is very simple.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very frustrating that performing the simple steps indicated in the manual “Before first use - Rinsing the machine” the machine doesn’t do anything after pressing ON. A video in the website shows water dispensing from the hot water spout but it doesn’t actually happen.

Stop going out for specialty coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best part of this machine is when you use the milk. There is no extra cleaning required! I mean there are no secret compartments or crevices or tubes where you have to take the machine apart to get to the milk before it sours. This is what really did it for me - because to have a good specialty drink, you need milk. The thing that always bothered me before was how I had to jump through that extra mental hoop of “but do I really want to have to spend time cleaning up the parts where milk was used?” - with this lattego it was an answer to prayer!!! Love this machine! Didn’t know how great the Philips brand was in this arena - now I do :)

The reviews I had read were spot on, unfortunately this was a gift and only read the reviews after receiving the product. The set-up overly complex and took several tries to complete after reading instructions several times. You need to keep a cup on the drink tray or you will be required to constantly empty the drip-tray as water comes out at start-up and auto-shutoff. These are minor inconveniences, the reason I would not recommend this product is due to water coming out prior to brew cycle starting. This means I need to quickly time the brew and switch cups to ensure I don't water in my cup as the machine ejects pre-brew water. I have owned SAECO automatica machines in the past and loved them. This was extremely disappointing as I have yet to brew a proper espresso after adjusting the grind and length of the brew. This should not be new information as most reviews mention my issues.
