The machine has performed well however we do find it a bit too loud to use when others are still sleeping. Even at the highest temperature setting the coffee and milk drinks could be warmer . Because the highest settings for strength and size barely fill half a cup we need to run it two times for each drink. Consequently we are going through beans quite quickly which affects the the cost to operate and payback calculations however not a deal breaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be completely honest, it does take a bit for the machine to get to where it needs to be. From what I've gathered, that is mainly due to the ceramic parts in the grinding/brewing group mechanism. Once "broken-in" the coffee that comes out is phenomenal!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were really hesitant to purchase this because of the upfront cost but after a month or so it seems to be worth it. It has definitely cut down on the number of times we go to Starbucks, which was one of the primary goals. It’s also great not having to make pots of coffee in the evening when I just need a single shot of espresso to get me through a project that I should have started way earlier I think the day. Taste-wise we aren’t connoisseurs of espresso but it seems to be comparable to what we’d get at a coffee shop. If this lasts for a few years then it will be absolutely worth it, it’s too early to tell but we’re hoping dor the best.

I chose this rating because after buying it 5 weeks ago and we went on vacation for1 week, it doesn’t work and it’s at the repair shop. I can’t believe that the machine cannot be replaced after 5 weeks. I am extremely dissatisfied.
