So this is really nice speaker. Not sure how to best to describe it but it sounds big. It puts out large sound. Super light and easy to take anywhere. Music sounds great and I watch movies on my iPad with it connected via airplay!! The difference is huge, it feels like a have large speakers connected. Best part is that it connects with the rest of my Sonos system. I can connect it for music with my Arc and Sonos ones and for movies too. The Roam won't work as a surround speaker but it will still connect to the arc and play stereo. Every other portable speaker essentially is standalone. This really set this speak apart. The battery could be a little better. And selecting Bluetooth or grouping vs sound swap depends on how long you hold certain buttons... which could be a little easier. Still a 5 star though.

The Sonos Roam definitely exceeded my expectations on sound quality built into a small device. However, the real game changer for me was the ability to connect to the speaker via bluetooth and share the audio with any other Sonos systems in my collection. Now I have the option of having full surround audio anywhere I go with any audio source.

Bought a pair for a holiday. The sound is great for these little easy to take with you speakers. The sonos app works great. The only problem I had was setting up a stereo system because of the bad wifi connection. When I travel this is often a problem, just one Roam should do.

Lightweight and easy to use! Love taking it on patio or any room in home, even where the big Sonos system it adds another level of true sound! The bass is in incredible for something that fits in your hand! My husband wanted at least one more after hearing the awesome sound, but I said we only need the one Roam. We'll see if he gets his extra one for his den!
