Not happy at all, worst product Sonos has produced

First of all, I'm a Sonos fanboy. I love their stuff and have recommended it to several friends. However, the Roam speaker does not preform to their standards. The issue is Sonos app(s) cannot discover the uint once powered down for a period of time. Bluethooh hit or miss. VERY difficult to factor reset. Basicly unreliable.
Cons: Unreliable

I bought one of these and liked it enough to purchase a second to make a stereo pair. The first one died just out of warranty - so I bought a third one. Then the second one died just out of warranty. The third one is not quite one year old yet and still under warranty but I am not holding my breath.

Difficult to pair

I love Sonos products and have used them for years. I found the Roam that I received to be incredibly difficult to pair and keep paired. Even once set up and paired the first time, each subsequent time is very frustrating and time consuming and I don't normally have problems with products like these.

Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Unreliable

Paired with my other Sonos speakers sounds tremendous. But by itself the sound quality is average at best. My other Bluetooth speaker which is half the price sounds better.

Brilliant sound, unintuitive to use

Sound is good for the small size. The user experience is very unintuitive however. Just the fact that you have to google quite a bit to figure out how to switch between Bluetooth and normal mode (Wi-Fi) is something Sonos should do better. Finding a guide to the button combinations etc is nearly impossible. And why can't you just do this from the app?!

The Roam had trouble syncing with my Sonos App, spend a lot of time just to get it to sync. At times the Roam will simply not play.... it will play on every other Sonos speaker I have except the Roam, static sometimes appears as though the Roam is trying to work properly but doesnt. It eventually comes on I just dont know when.

Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Unreliable

Convenient, high quality portable speaker

This is a great portable speaker. The audio sounds way better than it should for a speaker of its size. The Auto Trueplay helps too. The battery life is great, but managing the battery is a bit awkward (have to open the app to check it, and there's no way to limit battery charging to extend the life). The rear button can be complicated to use, overloading several functions onto one button. Overall I'm impressed with the quality.
