Love the product, set up is frustrating

the Roam is our third Sonos speaker. love the sound, the quality and appearance. Set up is tricky. Did multiple resets before it would communicate with our wi-fi network. It's frustrating! (We have high speed 1 gig fibre optic service with boosters throughout the house - connectivity should not be an issue). Smart home with lots of devices on network. I'm comfortable with setups, routers hubs etc.

Cons: Difficult Setup

Unreal how easy Sonos has made this to use. The sound for its size is incredible. I feel it's even better then a high end competitors similarly sized portable speaker. I find auto tune to work great, sounds good in the garage, bedroom, and even in the car. I highly recommend the bundle with the wireless charger.

I moved back home for the Summer (while my home is being built). I put my other Sonos speakers in storage, but wanted a Sonos speaker to play in the background while I work (remotely). However, the Roam constantly stops playing songs randomly, regardless if it's through Bluetooth or WiFi. The longest it's gone without interruption is about 3 hours, but it's stopped 4 times in one song before. No doubt it's just faulty, but really didn't want to deal with getting it replaced, just another item added to my laundry list.

The sound coming from this ROAM speaker is awesome! The battery life however is not so great. After a full charge it depleted to 30% in just over 3 hours.
