This is an amazing little speaker with a ton of bells and whistles. And when you consider the price, it's a no-brainer. Although I wish it had a little more bass, the detail and sound quality make up for that. I love the wireless charging and fling option, so cool! Get this if you are a mover!

Take out to the pool and backyard. Used to drag Sonos1 outside and have plug running back inside. This is so much easier and more portable.

Great portable speaker to use around the house or outdoors

I've been using this speaker around the house and in the backyard. This was my first SONOS product and it will not be my last. I was very impressed with the sound quality from this little speaker and how easy the SONOS application is to use both from my desktop and mobile device. Setup was a breeze and I was up and listening to music in no time. When away from home the Bluetooth functionality had solid performance and was easy to use. I will be looking at getting another to connect as a stereo pair and to use for multiroom audio. While this is not specific to this particular SONOS speaker, I simply love the SONOS application and how you can access and control multiple streaming sources from one application. It is so much easier to use than going into each individual service application and casting the audio, plus you can access your own local network music library. Simply brilliant!

Cons: Confusing charge indicator (very minor)

The Roam portable speaker packs a lot of punch for the small package it comes in. I was surprised how easy it was to set-up and to use. It has changed the way we use our outdoor space, our summer has been improved by the addition of this speaker.

pretty darn impressive bought it for a small room and I am very happy frankly it sounds better the higher you turn the volume up .....need a bit more time to explore all it can do but it is a great complanion for my Sonos 5.

I listen to a wide range of music from current pop to metal and fusion. It seems clear that the speaker is tuned for and only tested with current pop and R&B music. It sounds great when playing this style, however, for all other music it is muddy and distorted even at moderate to low volume. The connectivity and integration is excellent and I like that it works with airplay, but the sound quality is just so inconsistent and disappointing. This is my first Sonos product and I'm not sure I would buy more after this experience. I read many reviews before buying and none of them mentioned this huge flaw... Very strange
