Great sound, minimal funtionality.

It's great sound, as expected, but with a 10 hour charge and nothing to secure this to a paddle board or kayak the only use for it is at home. Even that doesn't function the best. I have the Arc, highly recommend, and every time I connect my Roam to the arc the sound is always cutting in and out of from the Roam. I live in Seattle and with a 3' water resistant product, great sell, but there is nothing to secure the Roam to our kayaks or paddle boards.Nor is there an option to buy something that would safely secure it. Honestly though, for the price it is, it should have one built in.

Roam requires a 10 watt charger, which is not included with product. Not compatible with cell phone or laptop chargers. Very disappointing.

Useless product from my point of view. Too complicated and time consuming and still unable to stop blinking orange light. Contacted Sonos help service, but never heard back. Reporting process for assistance, ridiculously cumbersome. Took ages to use reporting system!!! Very very bad impression with the whole experience. Wherever you the manufacturer is located, you need to wake up and acknowledge that people have much better things to do than spend hours trying to get your product to work for the public. Does one have to have a degree in computer technology to use this useless speaker???. If yes, why don't you place that warning on the packaging??? because it appears to me that it may be a necessary requirement to be able to use this speaker. After I ran into the un-relenting blinking orange light, and not able to access any support from your support service, I decided to return the product and warn everyone possible of the poor product and even poorer service. Then noticed many other reports online of same blinking orange problem that recurs numerous times, even if you manage to finally get it to work. What a ridiculously waste of people's precious time! I can't express my dissatisfaction with the Sonos Roam strongly enough. I can't find words that adequately describe the depth of my incredibly frustrating experience!!!

Complicated and difficult

I bought this for the ability to have it join my current systems ( I have 2 home and office ) and be able to have travel music . It does not effectively do that . I've tried to have it just as a Bluetooth speaker amd it doesn't effectively do that either .

I have a computer with a good Logitech sound system. But I prefer the Roam as it is small and looks good on my desk and the sound is superior.

The Sonos line of products are outstanding, best sound quality, the easiest setup and craftmanship put into the product inside and out is outstanding and by far the best listening equipment out there.
