Nice but does not come with a proper way to charge it

I use it in different rooms in my house and outdoors, and also to supplement my Sonos ecosystem. Instructions are not very clear on what type of charger will work. Of course the small iPhone charging block is too small and the larger one for the iPad Pro is insufficient. As a new product, it should come as a complete pair.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult to Use, Does not come with suitable charger, Unreliable

Good sound....sub-par power management

I have a lot of Sonos products and love them all but the Roam isn't up to par. It's very difficult to figure out if it's off and the battery doesn't come close to 10hrs. I can only hope it's possible for a firmware upgrade to solve the issues. Sleep mode isn't the answer either. May be the first product I send back.

Portability with good sound is a must for me. I own 4 portable Sonos products. The roam is a complete disappointment due to constant discharge of battery when not in use. It turns itself on when in standby mode. First you have to figure out it isn't all the way off then you have to figure out why it turns itself on in standby mode. Then you have to figure out how to turn it completely off. Then learn that when charging you need to make sure it's all the way off when done charging or well it's in stand by again. This left me with a dead or almost dead device during the first 3 weeks of owning it. What is just completely lame is I had to google all this to find the info. Nothing offered I. Tips and tricks or most effective way to use your ROAM. To Sonos a dead battery make a product useless. It negates the standout technology, makes the brand loyalty customer salty, and as said the product useless.
Pros: Streams All My Music, and More, Wireless
Cons: Difficult to Use, Unreliable

I would not buy the Sonos Roam again

After two years the Sonos Roam 2 speaker would no longer charge. Because the one year warranty no longer covered the product Sonos would only offer a 30% discount on future purchase. Will never buy another Sonos product. My Bose wireless speakers are 8 years old and still work wonderfully.
Cons: After 2 years the Roam 2 wireless wouldn't charg, Unreliable

When I first read about this speaker, I was intrigued. Formally being a dj, I travel with my music all over the place. I do own a couple of compact speakers but none of them really wowed me like this one. The sound is amazing. The battery life is excellent and the most important factor for me...it's compact and durable. So happy I invested in it, considering getting a second one to pair. Thanks Sonos!

Battery doesn't last long. Not easy to use- switching between BT and WiFi is a challenge. Great size and sound. I have 10+ Sonos products I love. This one falls short.

The sound quality is decent and I like the expandable, multi-room system, but the battery life is quite poor. Additionally, the unit does not include a charger actually capable of fully charging the unit. I had to buy a different one.

This is seriously the best wireless speaker I have ever used. It looks premium right out of the box. It is super easy to set up with the app. The app is very user friendly which makes it easy to customize your speaker to your needs. You can integrate Alexa or google assistant to make it hands free as well. Most importantly after being so user friends is the sound. You can not tell that it is just a small speaker. The sound is amazing. It is truly a stereo sound coming out of a small speaker. You can tell that it is premium which makes it so worth the price. You can use it inside or outside. It is great by the pool. It is also easy to add other sonos speakers in different rooms. I highly recommend this speaker to anyone who listens to a lot of music. You will not be sorry.
