Good Sound but can't stereo pair in Bluetooth

I preordered two Sonos Roam to primarily use on our boat. I liked the idea of having portable wireless speakers that we could use at home or while on the water. They were easy to setup, the sound quality excellent and I like the idea of stereo pairing the two speakers together. What I didn't realize is that the stereo pairing only works while using WiFi connected to our home Sonos system. Apparently this feature is not available while using Bluetooth. Very disappointing and the reason for three stars instead of five. Come on Sonos, surely this can't be that hard.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: No Stereo Pairing in Bluetooth

Great Speaker/ Questionable battery

Speaker has great sound and is nice and compact. However I don't understand why the battery runs down when the power is off.

Really great portable speaker

I thought long and hard about how many stars to give the ROAM as the only "problem" was the battery charge. So, how many stars to deduct? I came to the conclusion of none to deduct. Maybe if it was on 25, I would have given it a 24/25. But because this is such a DARN good speaker all around, I had to give 5 stars!!! After all, charge it back up and off you go! P. S. Go with the wireless charger. Place it on the base and wait for full charge.

Sounds good for it's size. Design failure with power

Very poor design having power button same as Bluetooth button. Very inconsistent on how to turn on bluetooth --- it takes 2 or 3 tries each time to get the sequence right.

I pack it for every outing I go to. From backyard BBQ to the beach and pool. It's small and light to pack. The provided USB-C cable gives easy access to charge while driving to your destination or charge before attending gatherings. Loud enough to have an outdoor party which makes ideal.

Battery is awful

I used to have a portable Bose speaker I used to be my portable speaker and lost it at a hotel. Grabbed this because I'm obsessed with Sonos sound quality. It's much smaller than the Bose portable speaker I had and I would say sounds a little better, but the battery is awful. Most of the time it's just in my bathroom for music while I shower. Fully charged it only lasted until Thursday which equates to 40-45 mins of play time. I'm shocked, no wonder why they try to sell the upgraded charger with it.
Pros: Superior Sound

Complete Mess

Just a disaster. Every time you turn one off, it unpairs them as stereo speakers, so you have to repair them every time you use them. The wifi range is awful - I can't get any signal 20 feet from the router, where my phone has full signal. These don't work with SonosNet either. Returned both.
Cons: Difficult to Use, Unreliable

So I am a college student living in the dorms. I was given this speaker as a gift and it is not college student friendly. It will not allow me to use the Bluetooth without finding a home WiFi and it refuses to take my public school with. Because of this it's useless until I go home again and set it up with my home WiFi. This speaker has given me so many frustrated moments.
