This was a replacement for a Roam that died just after the warranty expired. Sonos should be commended because they replaced it free of charge. This is great customer service. We have six other Sonos speakers and we will continue to be Sonos users. We use our Roam inside and outside; very handy. Excellent sound.

I have tried everything to make this roam work. Not working, no way to actually get someone to help. Same with the SL speakers they only work part of the time. Have tried different routers and frequencies to no avail. Waste of my time and money. Just want an easy system, so buy a Bose.

Roam appears to only work from a stationary position attached to its charger. The minute is move it to another room(study, dining etc) which I thought it was the purpose, it disconnects and disrupts the rest my sytsem as apparently the speakers(six in total all creat their own wifi connectivity). If I wanted i the speaker in one place I would have bought a One SL which is a better speaker. THis problem appears to be common on the community discussion groups

Setup was fairly straightforward but the process failed at the end and had to be restarted. I expected the sound quality to be closer to a Sonos One but it was much much weaker.

I love how easy this is to use and it has a big sound for its size. Voice control is very easy. But you do have to have the speaker on its charger or on standby. If you turn it off, you have to turn it back on manually. However, we had an issue with Bluetooth connection with one phone overriding the WiFi on another phone. We don't like this!

I love Sonos - but not the Roam. Difficult to connect.

I have 12 Sonos speakers in my home, including Move. Brilliant set-up. Love it. The Roam makes it 13. But I feel like chucking it out the window after only 1 week. Bought it for portability. Constantly disconnects. Find I have to look up advice on how to reconnect so much. Still love the rest of my Sonos speakers & recommend to friends.
