The Roam does not work with other existing Sonos speakers and would not recommend this produce and will try to return it,

Also have Alexa - easy to compare. Roam is constantly losing connection. if I re-charge batteries (almost daily when home), system does not reconnect and I have to trouble shoot. if I leave for a few days, upon return have to troubleshoot to reconnect. WORSE? The "fix"? "unplug router and reboot"! I waste SO much time on the system.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Awful trouble shooting, Difficult to Use, Terrible Bluetooth / wireless connections, Unreliable

I don't have spotify premium, so every time I'm using the Sonos and it hits an ad, it pauses everything. It's quite frustrating, and i wish it didn't constantly pause.

The speaker works pretty well over WIFI, but Bluetooth is always a mess to use. Many times Bluetooth won't work at all. That destroys the main point of a portable speaker. I've had two Roams, and both were nightmares to connect over Bluetooth. On another note, the power button is spongy and annoying to press. I wish this speaker worked better.

I bought 4 Roam speakers and a Sonos sound bar in September 2022. Great sound, loved the system. In November, the battery in one of the Roam speakers died. Would not take a charge & would not even play when plugged into a charger. I understand that it was 2 months past the 1 year warranty, , The best they would do is give me a 30% coupon off a new one, which would actually still cost more than I found them for online (they were discounted for the holidays). So apparently, this Roam battery issue is pretty common (Google "Roam battery issue").
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Superior Sound, Wireless

I can't sync my Bluetooth to Sonos after several attempts. So frustrating!You'd think that you could make the icons larger and put a little paint on the controls so they could be seen for as much as we paid for them. The speakers and icons are all black. I should have bought a different system. I thought I was getting a superior speaker.

The speakers are good the installation took way longer than it should have. Tried first from my iPhone 15. It kept saying WiFi network not available but it did see the beam and other Sonos products. Went to my Mac that app kept telling me it had to be upgraded before setup of the Roams. It kept giving me an error message saying install failed. Finally went to another iPhone 15 and finally it installed. The app really needs to have a major overhaul it has always been glitchy. Sound quality on the Roams is very good.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
