Disappointing. Poor battery life. Poor customer service

I bought this product last year, excited to pair it with other Sonos products. Over the year of owning it I have been disappointed. The battery life is very short and it needs to be recharged constantly. And, when I reached out to Sonos Costumer support, they were incredibly unhelpful and dismissed my issue. So disappointing.

Cons: Battery life, Difficult Setup, Unreliable

Do your self a favor and avoid this disaster. It has bright down my entire system. Ever since I bought this, I've had nothing but problems with all my speakers. Goes into sleep mode and never comes out. Have to constantly plug it in to try to fix the issue (not ideal for a portable unit). Constantly rebooting my router to reset my system (like 2-3x/day sometimes). Makes me want to ditch Sonos all together. Except I've spent so much money on them, I'm stuck. Having said that, when functional (and that's rare), it's a great small portable speaker. It's just not worth the hassle. Truely.

These little speakers sound great IF you can get 5hem to stay connected. Perhaps mine is just a oddball but the 3 large Sonos work perfectly. This one keeps losing connection, even when 10 feet from router. I wish I had returned it during the approved time. So far a dozen hours, and two calls to Xfinity ...all result in temporary connection

Had two that died just out of warranty, Sonos support was useless. They just wouldn't turn on anymore. Really like my sound bar and would love to have speakers tied together again but it's hard to drop more money on this company's products after this.

I've had 2 of the roams now. First one died after 1 year wouldn't turn back on and they sent me a replacement that can't connect to my system all of a sudden. Called customer support hung up on me and then I called back and told me a supervisor wasn't available. I don't recommend.

The speaker sounds incredible. My one and only gripe is the standby mode. It is constantly draining the battery. Hopefully an update is released to fix this issue. I'm getting sick of going to use my speaker and it has 16% charge even though I charged it the day before.

Great sound, Terrible Battery

The battery on this speaker is TERRIBLE and Sonos does not provide any guidance in terms of how to achieve the 10 hrs of battery life touted on the product page. I was fully charged and lasted less than 2 hrs on bluetooth. Also, frustrating that there is no charging brick included since you really need more watts than a standard iPhone charger can supply. The sounds is great for a portable speaker and has surprisingly good base. I only kept because I'm using it to replace my echo in my bedroom and has the added benefit of somewhat mobility when needed. Sonos should really provide better guidance on how to maximize battery life.
