Purchase 2 roam speakers and I love their functionality, sound, portability and size. I have the Arch, Beam, 2 Moves and a Five. They work well around my home and back yard. I use the eero mesh for my Wi-Fi connectivity to make my system work. Happy Sonos customer.

Love the portability in my home area, inside and out, familiar operation as with my long time Sonos experience. Being able to use as both a Bluetooth and a Sonos network device was a purchase motivator. I particularly like the battery state readout from any device.

I wouldn't compare necessarily with other portable speakers at the same price range. While other speakers may be louder and have more bass, I would say the sound is not as clear. What I like is that the sound is clean and is just loud enough for what I need (going out to the park, listening by my desk). While I've heard some louder speakers, what I do like is it fits with my Sonos system at home and the sound quality is good. You can get a louder speaker but you may compromise quality. I'd say the Sonos move is significantly louder but at the same time at a different price point.

I bought it purposely to bring it to the beach with me for my trip to Costa Rica and it did not let me down. It was surprisingly loud for the size and I love that it's ultra portable! Water and sand did not cause any issues. Also, did I forget to mention how loud and good it sounds!

Love the sound but hard to use as BT. I bought it so I can use it on a cruise without WIFI, it's easy and needed to try several times before it gets connected. it really should be this hard.
