I enjoy being productive so having a Sonos speaker already in my room and having one to tag along is amazing. Although I set my roam to sleep mode and well it never woke up so that's the end of that. I've tried the a couple reboots and the charging light comes up but I'm not sure what's going on.

Cons: Unreliable

Use Roam on our patio and screened porch. Good sound, good bass and high notes. It was somewhat challenging to set up as it was not clear which App to use. I opened the wrong app was was told i have a security problem. Was told i needed to buy a fire wall. Fortunately i declined and found the proper app. You might want to update your instructions as to which app to use.

Incredible sound, sturdy solid construction, easy to create stereo with 2x Roams, and expands your Sonos system easily outdoors. Only asks: -powering off and on can be confusing based on lights and chimes. -creating Bluetooth stereo (with 2x Roams) without having to be on WiFi would be awesome!

Sound is great. Bluetooth connectivity keeps cutting out when I take a call and it has to be re-connected when music source still says playing. Also randomly cuts out with iphone 11 sitting right next to it. Never had this problem with my previous speaker

I would ask Sonos to work on the battery life, it only lasted 4 hours playing via Bluetooth at a high volume

Great sound and a boat load of extras

This is really a special product. Sound quality is very good. My issues are 2 fold. First the standby battery drain is pretty fast. Just a day or 2. Which wouldn't be a big deal if it would just turn off when not in use. But it doesn't. Turning it off means depressing the button for an extended amount of time. Which doesn't sound like much, but it can be a pain, in stead of just turning off the music, and walking away. The play time is supposed to be 10 hours. If your inside and the volume is low, I could see that happening. but for outdoor use, the volume level is typically at 3/4 of maximum or more. Wearing down the battery much faster. Even with a couple of down sides, the ability to pass music from one speaker to another. Multi room listening, a digital assistant, true play on the go. All these things make the steep price a little more bearable.
