I love the portability of this product! We bring it outside and to our lakeside without concern about it possibly getting wet. In addition, the sound quality is superior! If you are used to the quality of other Sonos products, you will not be disappointed. And the fact that it is affordable is the best thing about this product.

The Roam speaker has been the best portable multi-speaker system I have ever used. It is really easy to connect to the speakers, either over a wireless network or through bluetooth, and have great sound in multiple rooms or stereo sound in a single room. Working outside, the sound travels far. The volume has a great range as well and the TruePlay automatic adjustments are nice. It has all-day battery life and can be used where ever I want it to. Usually connecting to it is very simple, all through the app, but every once in a while I had to use the power button to re-connect or to switch to bluetooth, which sometimes just lead to it shutting off. Other than that, it is a great speaker. I would definitely recommend it!

I purchased the Sonos Roam to replace the Bose portable home speaker I sold. The Roam is much more portable and offers so many of the same features as the Sonos One. Alexa integration is great and fully works with Apple Music unlike Bose. Sound quality is clear and loud in small rooms and performs well outside when picnicking with friends. That being said, it lacks the oomf the of the larger Sonos One, especially for deep bass. I wish Sonos could have made this larger or offered a larger one that can be a tad louder and put out more bass. That being said, this is an excellent portable speaker.
