For years, I have referred to my UE Boom as the best non-Sonos speaker. No longer - Roam eats its lunch on every front. My Roam feels more durable, has better sound, longer battery life, AND easily incorporates with my existing system. (My favorite hack - adjust Roam's bass to ridiculous levels and group with a One or Play:1 for unexpectedly awesome depth). Consider me a converted skeptic as I didn't think anyone would make me give up my Boom.

Impressive Sound Quality

The good - Sound quality is very impressive. For such a small device, the bass and treble coming out of the speakers is amazing. The bad - It needs work on the voice assistance, particularly with Alexa. The good news is that this is something that can be fixed with updates. The ugly - Charging via wireless (QI) charging has issues with it, Some times it will work, some times it fails. This can also be fixed with software updates.

I use the Sonos in my home and I use it portable. It works well with Amazon Alexa. The sound is clear and it is easy to operate manually or by voice. I love Sonos radio, it is great and gives me more options and choices according to my music choice. The best part of all...it is portable.

This portable speaker has been so amazing and such an awesome addition to my home, especially since we are home all the time now! It's so awesome to be able to bring it anywhere I go, outside, inside. It connects with other sonos speakers as well for an awesome experience. It's been really neat having it and I use it daily. I love that it connects to Alexa so even my 5 year old son is able to ask it to play his favorite songs. Overall, the speaker has a super sleek design and is light enough to be portable but heavy enough to be sturdy and feels nice in my hand. The sound quality is absolutely amazing. It actually gets really loud for its size. The buttons feels sleek and the overall feel is just great. I truly think it's one of the best portable speakers I have ever owned. Game changer when it comes to portable speakers

This speaker works different than other Bluetooth speakers. I love the ability to listen to music through the speakers while listening to the regular sounds just from my phone (no more having everyone in the house hear when I get a text or check my social media). Also, the ability to quickly switch to different music from different speakers is awesome. It is very easy to use once you know how. You just have to make sure you read the simple instructions first.
