Difficult to connect Had to go to customer service. Took 30 minutes. The next time I turned the system on, it was like starting all over again. No connection. Gave away to a friend who already had one speaker.
Pros: Expandable, Wireless
Cons: Difficult Setup, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Sonos speaker has great sound quality and is easy to use! All you have to do is set it up (which is pretty simple) and tell it what music to play. I would recommend this speaker to everyone, especially if you don't have a phone or you don't have a way to listen to music. The Sonos speaker also has Bluetooth!
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, alternative to playing music on your phone

Very disappointing that they no longer come with the charging pads. I see this as a way for Sonos to charge the same but give less. Two years ago I purchased two units with charging pads. They also disconnected frequently from the wife.
Pros: Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Continually disconnects from the wifi., No longer comes with the charging pad., Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I spent two days and an hour or so on the phone with tech help trying to set up a stereo system and found after all that I couldn't use the system to play my saved music and I was hung up on and waited on hold, it caused a mild temporary depression and occasional rage. I got them as gifts and sent them back to the person that gave them to me. I have a UBL system that works effortlessly
Pros: unnecesarily complex
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I own several Sonos products and love them. The Roam is by far the worst. It stopped working the other night so I contacted Sonos. It was out of warranty so they offered me a 30% discount off the purchase of a new unit... unacceptable. They then said I would be considered for a warranty exception. The Roam just stopped working with no viable solution or fix. Offering a discount is insulting.
Pros: Wireless
Cons: Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too complicated and forces you to use app

Honestly, this thing is a pain to figure out. I've had it for a week and I still can't seem to get it to play sounds from my phone unless they're coming from a dedicated music app. It's hard to use and forces you to use the app. The sound quality is relatively good for its size but the bass is flat and not as good as other speaker brands of similar size, like JBL. And those are easy to use; just connect to Bluetooth and you're set.
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Poor Sound Quality, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't like using it. I can tell you track every time your on it. Difficult to set up not convenient. Don't like I have to go into my apps to use speaker blue tooth is just fine.
Pros: It was free
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, They track what you listen to sell info, Too many emails, Trying to upsell constantly, Unreliable, While your in Sonos they have access to all apps, You have to give access to all your music apps, You have to provide your private passwords
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
