Since these speakers are weather resistant, I used them to link the outdoors by coupling with our in home SONOS system
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up
Cons: Poor Sound Quality

disconnects from bluetooth every minute or two

I was excited to use it but it disconnects from Bluetooth so often I don't even try to use it much. Just junk sitting here

Use the product to expand sound system where electrical outlet is limited. However, it does not stay connected and whenever I want to use I have to turn off and on to connect to my so is system

The Only Good Feature is the Sound

Besides the fact that the sound is high quality, there is nothing else I can positively comment. As with most of the other users, I find the controls non-sensical and difficult to navigate. Never know if unit is actually off. No auto power off and the standby mode is useless (just makes things more confusing) and causes many dead batteries when you think the speaker is charged. Bluetooth connection is a nightmare, can not connect other devices if not at home making the speaker terrible to use on vacation, on beach or a group setting. Even connecting my own devices is a pain, as it never auto connects and you have to enter the bluetooth menu on the device ever time to select the Roam.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Confusing controls, Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Limited Battery Life, Pairing via BT is brutal

For the price it is awful. It's a great size and aesthetic design. It sounds great in small spaces, but not at all in open areas. Which defeats the purpose since it's for travel. The set up was a nightmare and I even had someone familiar with Sonos to help me! Why do you have to use an app to connect to your wireless travel speaker? Just stupid. The way it's set up to use is so inefficient. Whoever created the Sonos app should be fired. But for me the biggest issue is the technical difficulties. Doesn't hold a charge very long. And after a couple months it now is having problems charging all together. It isn't even damaged or anything it just stopped working right. Just a waste.

Bluetooth issues.

I have owned Sonos products in the past with no issues. The roam keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth and I have to reset it to reconnect. Three times on the phone with Sonos tech support and I keep being told the same thing. Send us a diagnostic report. It's been almost a month and I am still having the same problem.

I can't use the product. It's pointless as the network never connects to it. On the very few occasions it has worked the sound has cut out at times making it infuriating. Worst purchase so far.
