I would not buy this product again

The Roam worked initially but soon battery and connection problems ensued. All efforts have been made to reset and reboot. It is dead, no lights, no sound, no BT, no way to connect to system. I was an early adopter and paid the price. Sonos only offers 30% off coupon to resolve - own many other Sonos products - this one is a loser.
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Unreliable

It is shocking that this product has a high ratings. Not only have I had a terrible time with the incredible inconstant product but I have heard from multiple friends and coworkers how awful their experience has been too. NO ONE SHOULD BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Sound is great. Power button is in terrible location and turns on if you pack it in a bag. Hard to tell if you turned it off or if it's sleeping. About half the time I got to use it the battery is drained even though it was charged last use. I definitely regret buying it. Especially at a premium price.

If you're looking for a wireless speaker as this was originally advertised as, look elsewhere. It is the most unreliable bluetooth device I've ever used. The sound is so great but really not worth it in my mind. Go with a different company if you're looking for a speaker to join you on adventures. We use it in our bathroom as we cannot return it at this point and it works great, just not what we were looking for in a wireless speaker :/

Sound quality is below average at the price point. Battery dies too quick. Battery also seems to drain after a couple days of non usage, so when I'm on a jobsite and I pull it out it's pretty mucb always dead. Most of the time I don't have availability to charge it, so it stays in the truck. I'm looking for a different portable speaker to replace this one.
Pros: Expandable
Cons: Poor Sound Quality

This is my 7th Sonos product and the only one that I can't count on to maintain an internet connection. 3 hours of troubleshooting with their tech support team did not help.

This product has great sound, oh, but only when you can get the Bluetooth to work (close to never). Don't buy this and don't buy any SONOS products because all are suspect if they can't get Bluetooth to work.

I gave this to my mom because she needed a little Bluetooth speaker, I had to set it up because she couldn't figure it out. The fact you have to use the app, be on private wifi, make an account, and more... the app is broken, can't make a new account so I had to go to the website to make an account JUST TO USE BLUETOOTH like every other speaker out there... Ridiculous, way over complicated and invasive. DO NOT BUY unless you are a Sonos shill who dropped 10k+ and put them in all your rooms already
