Drops bluetooth connection very frequently. It's been really frustrating trying to get it to stay connected, to the point where I sometimes just give up. Not a joy to use.
Cons: Poor Sound Quality, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm on my second one. My first one stopped working and was still under warranty. It was replaced with a refurbished one and it won't stay connected to the app and other Sonos speakers I have. It's the same pro7ihad with the first one I had.
Cons: Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been waiting months for the Roam to go on sale. I was highly disappointed in the product performance and operation. Getting it to connect was exhausting and the sound quality was mediocre. Product for the price is not worth the money.
Pros: Wireless
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Poor Sound Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was really looking forward to these Roam speakers. The set up on multiple devices is clunky and difficult. The WORST feature is the ridiculously LOUD Jack-hammer sound that starts when the battery gets low. The sound is 10x louder than the music. I WOULD NOT recommend these to anyone.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Wireless
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, LOUD Jack-hammering sound when battery gets low, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stunned at 1) poor sound, 2) requirement I am forced to use your app to play music, 3) tie up my phone, 4) unknown integration to third party media servers, 5) lack of control forced to your services, 6) ads I want to Bluetooth connect to my Alexa, like I do with my various Sony devices. If it can be done it is so painful I gave up.. I've always heard Sonos was the top shelf for sound. Wow, nope. I want to be in charge of my music. Oh , work with my Plex Media server? I gave up. Tie up my phone to stream to the Sonos, more waste. "Alexa, play (any artist or an artist in my Plex) " now that's easy and leaves my phone alone. I can get ads w Pandora or iTunes and control my player, if I want ads.
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Poor Sound Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
