Bought 2 Roams when they launched; paired w/ the charging bases...spent extra there. Guess what? Both failed to work within 2 years. Just spent an hour with support and they offered me 30% off a replacement. ARE YOU KIDDING? Why would I spend more money when the quality of the product and service are so bad? BEWARE and buy something else.
Cons: Poor quality, Unreliable

We bought two for our daughter's rooms and we tried to use as a stereo pair. Didn't work no matter the troubleshooting with Sonos so split. Worked well enough till one by one they just died. One was replaced I believe as a courtesy as we own many Sonos products. No luck on second one as wife chucked it while I was gone. Save your money and get a UE speaker for fraction of the cost and will last years.(10yrs for mine and going)

I purchased this product 10 months ago. Our new home wasn't done on time, so I was not able to set this up until fall. It never stayed connected and had to be reset constantly. Tech determined I had a bad unit, replaced it. Same issues with brand new one. I got the shaft on credit and lost money, no warranty on replacements. DO NOT BUY ROAM!!

I'm a huge fan of Sonos products - have had many generations of a variety of products throughout my house. The Move is great, but the Roam just does not seem at par with the rest of Sonos family of products. It's difficult to connect (at home or away), has a knack for just not showing up in your network, and just feels clumsy.

Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Hard to connect - home or bluetooth
