Not a good speaker to take with you JBL is much better

My wife bought me this because I wanted a Bluetooth speaker to have outside and to take with me to different places, but this is not a Bluetooth speaker. You have to be connected to Wi-Fi and through the app. Therefore it is useless outside. It would be a great speaker if you could just connect to it with Bluetooth.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Has to be connected to WiFi

I understand that you can buy something that is defective, but it was almost nearly impossible to work with their customer service. I spent hours and days on the phone with them never offered to replace it ended up just returning it.
Cons: Poor Sound Quality, Unreliable

Great sound, it does not work well with mesh WiFi

The sound is great, but the Roam frequently disconnects from my mesh WiFi. I've had a lot of issues trying to use it with 2.4ghz & it's been a huge headache. Every day I need to restart the device and re-pair it. I am using it with Eero mesh WiFi and overall reliability is poor. Way less reliable than any other bluetooth devices I own

Ive purchased many Sonos products recently. Sub, arc, Eco, S1s a Move and most recently the Roam. All others were great but not so much the Roam. Bad bluetooth and terrible battery life. Had planned to use this along with move for patio Stereo but learned the hard way that speakers have to be the same to pair for stereo. Why Sonos? I guess to sell more speakers? This one is going back.
Cons: Unreliable

Love the sound when it works. It's been quite inconsistent when it comes to connecting. It says it is connected but sound doesn't come out. I tried troubleshooting with various online help via Sonos website but no luck.

I have setup the roam speakers as a Bluetooth pair but the pair breaks after playing current song and away from my home network. What are the easy setup instructions for playing my stereo pair of Roam speakers via Bluetooth while I'm away from home?

Bluetooth has issues

When bluetooth get interrupted I loose all sound, even though it shows its connected. Solution is to just turn speaker completely off and back on to get a proper connection. I don't like how a Bluetooth speaker need to be connected to the app to just listen to some music. It is not convenient at all. I have not found the wifi to shut off so is not always looking for it.
