At first this was great for about 2 days. Then it started dropping volume randomly and disconnecting. It then would not let me reconnect via wi-fi or bluetooth. Sending back.
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Unreliable

I brought this to a friends pool and could not get it to connect to my phone/Sonos app. It was very frustrating. It was the whole reason I bought the device other than for my home.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use

I am bummed with this speaker

The sound quality of this speaker is phenomenal. However, it is constantly cutting out and I am always struggling to charge it. The battery does not last nearly as long as I would have expected. My JBL was cheaper and more reliable, and I wish I had just replaced it with the same one after all the struggles I've had with this speaker so far.
Pros: Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Unreliable

Turns into a brick on a daily basis

Terrible product. I've had nothing but problems since day one. The speaker constantly turns itself off and will become a brick for days on end until it decides to work again. No amount of resetting or switching settings has ever fixed it. Between this and the battery problems on Move, it seems like Sonos can't do battery-powered speakers.

I love Sonos products, usually. But this one was not ready market. The sound quality doesn't even come close to my Wonderbooms that I've had for four years. You can't park more than one at a time over Bluetooth, which is a huge deal breaker. And they're expensive.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Streams All My Music, and More, Wireless
Cons: Poor Sound Quality, You can't pair more than one over bluetooth

Had to return this because the UX was so bad. Difficult to connect to bluetooth, delays when skipping songs outside of the Sonos app (i.e. within Spotify app), inconsistencies with ability to change volume from phone, etc. Will be staying away from Sonos products.

The sound keeps 'crackling' /speaker temporarily disconnects

We got this speaker and was super excited because we're not limited to being 'plugged in' anymore, but no matter where we move this portable speaker, it tends to drop the connection temporarily (& often) to our Ray soundbar giving the illusion of crackling audio. If you're looking to connect this with a Ray soundbar, maybe look elsewhere.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Wireless
Cons: Doesn't stay connected to other Sonos products, Unreliable

This is the third Roam that will not stay connected to wifi. I have an Arc, beam, 2 Ones, Move, and a Era 100. All are exceptional except the Roam. Please fix whatever is wrong with the Roam.
