Sonos Roam failed to maintain WIFI Connection.

I purchased a Sonos Roam a couple months ago and set it up through my laptop and WIFI. The sound is fantastic when it worked. I noticed the SONOS speaker would just randomly drop the WIFI connection, sometime after an hour or two of listening to music. I would have to reconnect it to the WIFI which on occasion was difficult. A couple days ago the music just stopped and would no longer connect to the WIFI. Usually, it took a bit of fiddling for the flashing blue light to function but it just the last time I can get all the various light to function but the blue WIFI connecting light no longer appears. The SONOS just decided to be an expensive failure. And it sits directly below the WIFI router. I would suggest anyone thinking about a Sonos Roam to look for an alternative.

Cons: Unreliable

Sonos has trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. You need a very very strong signal for it to be able to work.

Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Unreliable

We have a Sonos 5 in the living room and two Sonos Ones in the kitchen. We added the roam to the living room to have a fuller sound in the living room and to be able to move the roam to the porch. The roam is rich and "balances" the living room sound. We plan to later add a 100 to the living room and move the roam upstairs.
