We use our Roam speakers in our back deck and in various places throughout the house where space is limited.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless

I've had Sonos products since 2014 and I've always been impressed with their quality. However, sadly the Roam has been a disappointment. The sound isn't bad but staying connected to the WiFi is a whole another story, it's and miss.
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Only works occasionally, Unreliable

These disconnect from the rest of our Sonos speakers and need to be reconnected regularly, but the biggest issue is that they don't EVER sync perfectly with the rest of our sonos system. There's always a slight delay with our roam speakers- it's incredibly irritating. For the price Sonos charges, we expect better.

Cons: Doesn't sync, Unreliable

Title should say it all - spent hours on chats with customer service too. Factory resets... the works. Nothing. Worked maybe once (on bluetooth, wifi never connected) and then never recognized anything ever again.

Do not waste your money. My Roam never stayed connected and didn't work with the Sonos Ones. I am returning all my Sonos stuff after 6 months of continuous frustrations.

Highly recommend the roam if you walk or ride a golf course. Excellent sound with awesome base. Battery is still good after a 5 hour round of golf. Awesome if you are on a basketball court and roam is far away. Such a wonderful speaker and highly recommend it to people who are active and on the move, but want great sound.
Pros: Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, That bass is awesome for a tiny package, Wireless

I've had Sonos speakers for over 10 years and continue to be impressed with the quality and features they add. This last weekend while traveling to a lake my Roam took a tumble off a dock, bounced multiple times and ended up in the bottom of a lake. It took us around 5 mins to find it in the 10' deep water but after finding it we reconnected the bluetooth and it continued to play flawlessly. Just another reason I love Sonos and will continue to purchase them.
