The sound quality is really good at low volume, once you increase the volume bass and quality is gone .

A little difficult to keep connected to the Sonos system

Love the roam but can be glitchy to move from Sonos system to Bluetooth. Also have to reconnect them to my system to frequently. Have had 2 of these where the battery failed. Overall they are great products with fantastic sound but some room for improvement from a design and functionality standpoint.
Pros: Portable for vacation, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Battery failures, Difficult Setup, Poor Connectivity, Unreliable

Use it on vacation, cooking outside, working outside, working in garage. I found it more difficult to set up and use then my previous 5 wireless. The sound isn't that much better but ok.

This is perfect for that use and small room or outdoor area. Love the ability to stream the same music from my Sonos One or Roam in different room. Very good autonomy, and the set-up was super easy.

Got this Roam speaker to lighten the load in my golf bag while still having great sound on the course. Took an hour fighting with the Sonos app and two factory resets to connect my phone and the speaker to my home wi-fi. Then didn't work the next day because my home wi-fi doesn't reach to the golf course... After another hour of searching "helpful" articles on the web, finally found instructions on how to connect simply as a bluetooth speaker. Still not sure if i was only able to do this because i first connected through wi-fi, (which most articles claimed to be the process) but at the end of the day, It should be as simple as pushing the BT button and listening to music. This wasn't so easy...

I get most of my music from Tidal, but I had problems connecting to Tidal. Using the Sonos mobile app, and following the instructions, I got to the point where Tidal verified I have an account, but the Sonos device would not connect to Tidal. I struggled with this for a while, but eventually solved the problem using the Sonos Windows app on my computer. There seems to be a bug in the mobile app.
