I was basically using it while in my garage and roaming throughout my home, however since I received an additional SONOS I leave one in the garage and roam with the other.

The supplied USB cable did not work, had to charge both roams with one cable It is not intuitive to setup Support was great

I decided to get a Roam because I loved how we used our Sonos system in the house, but wanted the portability. We have been incredibly happy with it. Knowing that it can tolerate some water, we happily use during showers and take it outside, even camping. My only issue with the Roam is that it powers on when I open my Sonos app. This is aggravating because often I am desiring to control my non-portable speaker system in the house. I need to remember to turn it off to not drain the battery.

Probably wouldn't buy this one again

The speaker quality and construction are excellent. But I purchased this one to use in home (because the model I wanted is on backorder). The biggest issue is that it powers itself off when idle. You have to physically press the power button to connect to the Sonos app to play music. This makes using the wake up/alarm feature unusable. Would be nice to have a standby option in this model.

Setup Is Terrible

I purchased a Sonos Move and three Roams. Trying to set up my Sonos ecosystem was a nightmare. It is NOT plug and touch and play like other products I've used. It took several hours and I had to get a friend to help me complete the process. We were asked to unplug our router several times, every time we tried to configure a Roam speaker. Crazy. The sound is awesome! But the installation app is terrible. For that reason I would not recommend these products.

Product produces great bass at low volume levels Bluetooth is a bit trick to figure out - there is no button on the unit to swap it out from WiFi to Bluetooth - only from a phone app can this be done
