I like my new Roam speaker, but I was confused while setting it up. I wanted to immediately use Bluetooth, but it turns out you have to be on a WiFi system in order to set up Bluetooth the first time. This doesn't seem logical to me when compared to other portable speakers I have used. This is the reason I gave four stars instead of five.
Pros: Portable, take it anywhere!, Streams All My Music, and More, Wireless
Cons: Bluetooth setup needs WiFi access

The sound quality is amazing for such a compact speaker. Love the portability factor and can easily move it from room to room if we need to. It allows us to hear the audio better in the kitchen area. We have this paired with the Arc, which is also superb. I love the Sonos speakers and plan to expand. Highly recommended!!

The sound out of this little portable speaker is great. My Sonos app recognized it right away. I got the wireless base charger and now realize that, when the Roam is on it, it's on all the time and ready to receive music. I take my Roam into the bathroom so I can listen to the news while showering and brushing teeth. It's improved my morning routine so much. Love the USB-C connector too. I will bring this when I travel because it's so small and such great quality. Will be great in hotel rooms just to listen to music.

I got this to have music in the kitchen that can play the same as what is playing in the rest of the house. Works great for this by integrating easily with other Sonos speakers. Great that it doesn't have to be plugged in for either power or input.

1) pro sound quality 2) negatives hooking up not so easy, using roam independent of a home system or multiple accounts in 1 household. Connecting is not automatic. You must activate speaker to connect to your phone, after a phone call you must manually connect. My Sony speaker at my office auto connects after a completed call. Battery life poor, spends most of the time on the charger maybe about 1 hour of listening time. I've owned this system for less than a year.

Cons: Battery not long lasting, Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use
