This is my second Sonos Roam... replaced a unit that died for no apparent reason but Sonos worked with me to replace it. It is a good speaker and I believe the one that does was just a fluke. I would recommend this product despite the early trouble based on the backing of the Sonos brand. I also have the move and port devices which integrate into my existing wired home audio system.

The Roam is great, I use it in the bathroom and I do not worry about humidity since it's waterproof. The sounds great, it connects easily to additional Sonos speakers in other rooms.
