I was excited to get the roam to use as a portable bluetooth speaker, but the reliability, sound, and battery are subpar compared to other portable speaker brands. I love our sonos sub and playbase, but this falls short of what you expect at this pricepoint. This speaker constantly disconnects from our devices and the battery life is terrible.

Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Unreliable

The only reason I give it 4 stars is I feel it's just a little bit expensive (Sonos products in general). I have multiple Sonos products that I have purchased in the last 2 years. I only buy them on sale and should the products last +10 years (especially products that don't have an internal battery - I expect 3 to 5 years for the Roam) with continued app support, then I will assign 5 stars - return on investment. Solid product.

I was led to believe that this "Ultra Portable Smart Speaker" outdoors be used as a rear speaker in conjunction with the Ray soundbar in our Airstream travel trailer. It sorta works but volume will not be controlled by the TV control. I does sound great, but did not fit my interned use. Entirely my fault and I now have an extra one.
Pros: Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Not as "Smart" as I was led to believe.
