My dad got me a Roam as a birthday present. My first venture into the Sonos ecosystem. I had it right next to me at my desk when I set it up and I was initially disappointed in the sound. Then I put it in our very large vaulted ceiling living room and I was blown away. It fills a huge space and has a deep, natural tone. Such a good excuse to get into Sonos. I haven't tried the Bluetooth audio yet but over WiFi at home it's really quite amazing for it's size. Just don't sit right next to it - not what they're designed for.

The Sonos Roam gets mixed reviews online, so I was pleasantly surprised how good this little speaker sounds! Having said that, I did set the EQ to +7 bass and +4 treble, and now this thing rocks. It's basically my bathroom/take into the shower speaker and it is great for that. I also find it handy to group my kitchen speaker to for a more immersive listening experience when cooking. The size is great too, to just throw into a backpack and go to the beach. Great little speaker!
Pros: Expandable, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: It could be made easier to switch to bluetooth.

I use the roam inside in the family rom, and outside on the patio. Switching from wifi to bluetooth is a pain.
