I have always wanted a portable bluetooth speaker, primarily for the golf course. I've just never gone to the trouble of buying one. I'm already obsessed with Sonos, so when Roam came out, I knew it was time. I'm loving it for the golf course, but I find myself using it in the office, the garage, the kids rooms, the patio, pretty much everywhere. It's not overly loud, but the sound is unbelievably full considering the compact nature of the unit. Couldn't be happier. Battery life is PHENOMENAL. I'm getting 9-10 hours out of my unit between charges.

This new Sonos sounds awesome for its size! I'm happy that it doesn't bass-bost or distort my music. It can hit lows and highs easily. I purchased it because of the Bluetooth connection. The setup process was kinda meh. I wanted to use it right away, but I had to have a wifi connection to set it up the first time :/ Besides that, it's been sweet. Just used it on a camping trip this weekend and everyone loved how great it sounded.

I utilize the product a lot while riding the golf cart along with playing the mutli-room option. The unit has a lot of features and I'm still trying to figure out how to get the best battery life out of it. I've done the research, changed the charging block, called IT (helpful), but if you're not completely out the SONOS app, it's my understanding the unit's battery can still drain. A little disappointed with the battery life.

I use the Roam in my shower and for yard work. I find the battery life short. It was hard to set up as a stand alone station and goes offline often.

I listen while outside on the deck since it is easier to grab than my Sonos Move. However, the battery life on standby is not as long as I had hoped for.

Loved almost everything about the roam.... However battery keeps draining because the speaker will turn on when you launch the app, even when you are not using the speaker.
