Love Sonos BUT

I have several other Sonos products that sound great and, importantly, work seamlessly. My Roam however will connect and disconnect at will. I've had to fully reset it just about every single time I want to use it. This happens also when it is connected and functioning and then all of a sudden it disappears and I have to got through the factory reset motions. It's very frustrating and disappointing, especially when the Sonos app indicates that it is offline but then when I select it from the app it's completely blank. I don't know if I have lemon but I would not recommend based on my experience. If I could return or exchange I would but I thought I was smarter than the speaker and could make it work but clearly I'm not.
Pros: Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult to Use, Unreliable

Not very impressive

Was really hoping this product would blow me away, but it has flat tiny sound, battery dies fast and it doesn't even always turn on when I press the power button. Very let down by a product with such a high price tag.

The sheer opposite of portable

This speaker, when it works, is fantastic. I've had issues pairing when I've been traveling, and issues with the power button's sensitivity (it will turn itself on all the time). Tried to pair via bluetooth, accidentally hard reset while I was abroad and couldn't use the device the entire vacation. Sonos needs to fix this issue as it's meant to be a portable speaker, and a simple hold of an already sensitive button shouldn't render a device useless without a WiFi network. Honestly, I would have preferred another portable speaker.

Impossible to set up

It took 2 hours to get my 1st Roam to work properly. It sounds great, when it works. Because I'm a gluten for punishment, I bought a 2nd Roam for stereo. It took 2 days, including "chatting" with tech support for 1 1/2 hours trying to "reset" the speaker to no avail. I was given a trouble # to call. Gave up for the day and when I tried the 2nd day, they worked. No idea how or why. Do not have a warm and fuzzy about these speakers working consistently.
Pros: Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use

Got a defective device

Got a defective device, instead of changing it got store credit for it, so went and got a bose soundlink for cheaper with better sound according to YouTube and Google since I couldn't test it for myself. The Sonos does feel premium when holding it.
