having trouble connecting

The product makes a wonderful sound but requires more time than I have to figure out the connectivity issues. I linked to my Sirius xm account but now it always has connectivity issues. Im stuck listening to the same single program over and over. it doesn't let me change to anything else.
Pros: Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult Setup, Unreliable

I was hoping to use my Roam with the rest of my Sonos system. I have every room in the house sounding great. I thought the Roam would be the complement for the back yard. Unfortunately it does not sync up with the Sonos 1 system. It's unfortunate, now it's just a nice Bluetooth speaker.

Instructions are vague. Disconnects from stereo pairing every time I shut it down. Had to reinstall multiple times and still isn't working correctly.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless

So many issues

We own many Sonos products, and this one is by far the most unreliable. Constantly disconnecting, cutting out, etc. even when connected to power 99% of the time. Sonos replaced another Roam we purchased when it just stopped working after about a year. I was so excited that Sonos came out with this type of speaker, but overall, very disappointed in this product.
Cons: Unreliable

Buttons are different than most Sonos speakers, and this one functions a little different too. Sound is OK considering size, but leaves a little to be desired depending on what you're looking for. Personally, I think Sonos should ditch the Move/Roam and just upgrade the One with a battery and expanded pairing options. streamline your mfg.
Pros: Portable
Cons: Functionality different from other models, doesnt always play nice with other Sonos models, sound is a little lacking...

Poor battery life

The sound of the Roam is incredible. However, this morning I started out at 100% battery charge. 45 minutes later I was down to 48%. I called customer service. They said charge it back to 100% and call us back. I did. Now they say play it for 12 hours and call us back. Who has time for this? There's obviously a battery issue.

Good sound, dismal connectivity

I've had my Sonos Roam for a couple of months now and want so much to love this thing, but keep running into challenges that make me doubt whether I'll continue to explore the Sonos ecosystem of products. Note - this is my first Sonos product. Sound quality is good compared to other similarly sized speakers, but doesn't "wow" me like experiences I've had with other Sonos products. Output is sufficient for a small room, but I've found sound quality seems better the further away you are from the speaker. Connectivity and setup with this speaker in general is a failure IMHO. Bluetooth is adequate but if I wanted a simple Bluetooth speaker I'd have shopped elsewhere. Using the device over Wi-Fi, connectivity needs to be re-established with every use which is a 2-5 minute minimum process. Why am I adding a "trusted" network to the device if I have to set it up as new each and every time? Likewise, services such as connecting to Spotify need to be re-authenticated frequently and without warning - your device will simply drop out of available devices in Spotify connect after which time to let the diagnosis party begin. Note - if you're having trouble the Sonos forums are your friend. Likewise if you're looking to buy, read the aforementioned forums prior to making your decision. Overall, a decent speaker but would NOT recommend if you aren't already invested in the Sonos ecosystem.
