Very limited Alexa functionality

I hoped this speaker would be a great addition to my bathroom to extend my whole-house Sonos system. I also hoped that it would act as an effective Alexa device in the bathroom. Unfortunately, as an Alexa device, it doesn't seem to talk to the other Echo devices in the house. No matter where I am in the house, the Sonos Roam Alexa answers the wake word, not my closest Echo device. I could be two rooms away, and if I say "Alexa" the Sonos Roam answers. To make matters worse, you can't change the wake word in the Alexa settings on the Roam. I'm still not sure if I'm going to keep it.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Wireless

Be sure to set it up at the location you will be using it. It will be difficult to use if not. Also, cannot use Alexa if using device through Bluetooth. Sound is astounding once you get it working though!

This speaker has a major flaw. Its volume is not easily adjusted. It needs to be at almost maximum volume to hear it. There is almost no range for you to control. It's either loud or you can't hear it. The only nice thing is it pairs to the rest of my system, that it's hard to use unless I'm blasting my system. Stick with JBL for portable speakers.

Cons: Poor Sound Quality
