Sounds great everywhere

It's small but powerful and totally portable. I can take it to any room anywhere because of the Bluetooth functionality. It doesn't need wi-fi so it can work for classroom demonstrations for students with great flexibility. The Roam is a very cool device.

I placed the Sonos roam on my nightstand to listen to meditation music but Alexa feature does not response well. The volume changes from soft to loud without asking. I have to talk loud for Alexa to respond. The sound is great for this size of this speaker. I'd recommend this speaker if someone doesn't care having Alexa, so Roam SL would be better.

Cons: Unreliable

The ROAM sounds great; but it is difficult to stream music (or anything) to it. ROAM uses Sonons Radio

Cons: Difficult to use other music sources, Unable ttream music from my computer

My order was not shipped due to billing and shipping address not matching. Contacted them 3 times before they figured it out. They said they needed to cancel the order and redo. I did as asked and after contacting 3 more times still no credit for the first order that I did not receive. Not happy with their customer service at all. Speaker is great though!

There's no question - the sound is fantastic. Set up is really frustrating, particularly when connecting to Mac. Wifi isn't always available, so I have to rely on Bluetooth and thank goodness SONOS FINALLY made Bluetooth an option. Include the ability to use an aux cord so I don't have to rely on either wifi or Bluetooth and I'll give 5 stars.
