I use the soundbar on my new TV. I love the different sounds coming from it. It was fairly easy to hook up. Haven't figured out to hook it up to my sound system yet.

The Roam sounds amazing. Whether it's a book I'm listening to or music by the pool, it sounds great. My only issue with it is that I have to go into my Bluetooth settings each time I turn it on to start listening to anything. I'd like for it to automatically connect to my phone when it turns on to eliminate that unnecessary step.

Really wonderful sound; one caveat

I bought the Roam for two reasons: 1) To replace a lost, older Bluetooth portable speaker and 2) enabling and extending Alexa to various spaces and outdoor places. The Roam achieves both goals very well. It sounds great, and provides adequate volume even outdoors (I am not of the "louder is better" fan club.) Battery life is as publicized. Two downers: 1) "Hey Sonos" version 1 has some growing up to do. It has difficulty understanding commands. I'm sure it'll improve over time. 2) More importantly, there is no obvious information about having to disable a wifi extender if you have one. I did and it created conflict with Roam to the point where I had to contact technical support. Turns out that an extender will conflict and essentially disable Roam's abilities for voice command, create choppy music, and otherwise wreck havoc on your system. It's recommended that a mesh-type system to extend your range will work. Yes, there is a service bulletin that describes this, but nothing in the scant documentation that came with Roam.
