Good Speaker, but could be Great

I love all the Sonos products, however, I am quite disappointed that my Sonos Roam loses signal with bundled with my Sonos Beam TV audio. It's my only complaint. When I called technical support regarding this issue. The Tech just said it wasn't made for that.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Does not connect with Sonos Beam with TV audio

A little disappointed in the Roam.

I typically will play music through my Sonos sound bar and I wanted something that I could place in another room in the house as moved around. It gives a surround sound effect. The battery life is not what is expected. I am getting about 8 hours out of a full charge.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Wireless

It's plenty loud and it sounds better then the JBL charge 5 that I just purchased to replace this. I've been disappointed in a few things with the roam. It doesn't hold a charge long (2-3hrs). It is very selective on the plug you choose to charge it. But now... I can't even turn it on without doing a factory reset. I have to hold the power button for 12-15 seconds... wait a second or two... then hold the power button for 2 more seconds. That gets annoying real quick.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Unreliable

Disappointed in Bluetooth Connection

I use this speaker to play music from my computer in various rooms - love the ease of moving around. Hate how hard it is to connect. If I stop playing for even 5 minutes it can take up to half a song to reconnect even if my computer shows its connected. After sleeping at night it must be plugged in to reconnect and it can take up to 5 mins to play the song.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult to Use, Unreliable

Incredibly mediocre

This speaker is pretty disappointing. Both the WiFi and bluetooth take multiple attempts to connect. It seems that they tried to cram too many features into the product without debugging all of them. The sound quality is decent indoors, but it doesn't project very well outdoors. The maximum volume is fairly low and makes it less effective outside.

Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Poor Sound Quality, Unreliable

Disappointed - It's never "grab and go"

I'm a huge Sonos fanboy. I currently own 8 different products of theirs and have been quite happy with all. The Roam, however, has been a disappointment. While the sound quality is OK, and its integration into the Sonos ecosystem is flawless, it has huge power management issues that cannot be ignored. It seems that every time I go to grab the Roam, it is dead. I discovered via Sonos forums that this is due to it never being "fully off" so that it can be discovered in the Sonos app. The "fix" is to hold down the power button for 5 seconds and doing a hard power-off. OK, I can live with that. I only use it as a portable speaker anyway and do not need the Sonos integration. Well, that didn't solve my problem either. A fully-charged Roam with the hard power off would be dead a few weeks later when I'd go to grab it. I truly do not understand how this is possible. I may buy the over-priced base for this and just leave it in a room in the always-ready mode. In the meantime, I purchased a Bose Soundflex (my first Bose product) and use it exclusively.

Cons: Unreliable

I use it outside extensively when I am doing work around the house. I also use it in conjunction with my other Sonos speaker system in the house. The sound quality is great and I have not had connectivity issues as some have expressed.
