Sound isn't bad, but doesn't play well with Sonos system

The speaker sounds fine, though not the best sound at this price point. Still, it's clear and powerful for its size, and very much waterproof so far. The reason for purchasing was to have an outdoor/portable speaker that integrated with my existing Sonos ecosystem. Unfortunately, having the Roam in the mix has caused several issues, from skipping to missed tracks in a playlist to no audio at all, from all speakers, not just the roam. Once I fully shut the roam down, everything is fine.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Streams All My Music, and More, Wireless
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First disappointment with Sonos

Roam is great for small groups outside - poolside, beach, and hot tub. Perfect for picnics. Bluetooth is important. Major drawback is extremely poor battery life. 2-3 hours max. Drains on its' own when not turned on. Every other Sonos I own (8 of them) is a 10/10. Roam is a 6/10
Pros: Free Control Options, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All my home and portable devices are Apple... I was looking forward to streaming to his speaker via Airplay. Unfortunately, after repeated attempts,I cannot get Airplay to work (using Bluetooth works fine).
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Airplay Doesn't Work, Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Poor Sound Quality, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Recently replaced Bose set up just to try sonos. I love the easy that set up is and zero sound delays between all of the speakers . Specifically this one sound is okay but battery just wont last what was advertised or similar product from other brands. Giving it 3 stars because battery is what is supposed to be different vs an one model and definitely would not rely on this alone if I need some music on the road.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Wireless
Cons: Battery

Speaker sounds good, battery life is not as good as the other speakers, wifi connectivity awful and standby battery life is poor at best. Sonos you need to upgrade software for wifi connectivity for 5 GHz. I have Google wifi and there is no way to connect at 2.8 GHz. Most of the router run 5 GHz.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult Setup, Unreliable

Not worth the trouble

The product requires too much micro-management. Fully charged, it dies within two days even if you aren't playing a lot of music. If you manually turn it on and off every time you want to play music to save battery life, you can perhaps extend it another day. On top of that, now the whole thing won't reset. Not worth the trouble.
Cons: Poor Battery Life, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

wold be nice if they included the appropriate charging cord, I could not set mine up because I did not have a cord powerful enough! I'm not an IT person, I listen to music, so why should I have to buy an additional item I had no idea was required in order to listen to any music! then, when I talked to the helpless desk the person on the phone was only trained to read a script, they had no idea what they were talking about, so I had to speak to a supervisor who gave me the explanation of the charging cord, they sent me a new one. which means, I bought it in May and had to wait until July to receive the appropriate cord so I could set it up!!! The other thing, the on/off switch is so slight you can't tell if its on/off, it's too flat! this product was not at all thought about and I don't think it's intended for users, only IT people
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
